By registering for and/ or attending the Event & Venue Marketing Conference (the “Conference”), you, (the “Registrant”), acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions within this waiver (the “Waiver”):
1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION. Event & Venue Marketing Conference, Inc. (“EVMC”) collects, in part, the following information (collectively “Personal Information”) from all participants to facilitate and execute the goals and mission of the Conference:
a. Name
b. Telephone number
c. Professional title and organization, if applicable
d. Address
e. Email address
f. Login credentials such as username and password
g. Financial information such as credit card or bank account information
Registrant agrees that EVMC may release any and all of the above Personal Information, excluding login credentials and financial information, to other attendees, sponsors, and other parties as EVMC may deem necessary to achieve the goals of the Conference. Additionally, Registrant agrees that EVMC may utilize and otherwise publish such information in printed, video, and otherwise digital informational and/or promotional materials as EVMC may deem necessary to achieve the goals of the Conference. Registrant recognizes that this Waiver at all times is to be subject to applicable state, local and federal law and that the Waiver shall be subject to amendments in such laws and regulations and to new legislation. Any provisions of law that invalidate, or otherwise are inconsistent with, the terms of this Waiver or that would cause one or both of the Parties to be in violation of law, shall be deemed to have superseded the terms of this Waiver.

2. AUDIO/ VISUAL RECORDINGS. Throughout all EVMC events, photography, video and audio recording may occur. Such audio and video materials may be used in promoting current and/ or future Conferences or in other EVMC marketing materials. Registrants are deemed to have granted permission for the capture of their person and/ or voice in such manner and accept and release EVMC from any liability, payment or royalties in connection with the capture, reproduction or distribution of images, video or audio by EVMC.

3. MEDICAL EMERGENCY. In case of a medical emergency, Registrant hereby gives EVMC permission to act on Registrant’s behalf in seeking and administering medical treatment in the event such treatment is deemed necessary or advisable for the Registrant’s health, safety and welfare. Registrant releases EVMC from any and all liability in acting on Registrant’s behalf in this regard and in rendering such medical treatment.

4. INDEMNIFICATION/ HOLD HARMLESS. Links, advertisements and product or service information (“Product Information”), from EVMC on behalf of third parties, other Registrants, or Sponsors; by other Registrants; by Sponsors and/or by other third parties (collectively the “Contributors”) on EVMC or Conference informational or promotional materials, do not constitute an endorsement by EVMC of the Contributors or Contributors’ products and services. The appearance on the EVMC website or other forms of paper or digital media of such Product Information does not constitute an endorsement by EVMC of the Product Information or Contributors, nor has EVMC investigated claims made by any Contributors or as to any of the Product Information. Product Information is based solely on material received from the Contributors. The opinions expressed by Contributors on the EVMC website or other physical or digital media sponsored by EVMC, are solely those of the individual Contributors and do not reflect the opinions of EVMC, its members, or its Board of Directors.
EVMC expressly disclaims all liability for any violations, including but not limited to security breaches or privacy violations, committed by any firm which provides online or management services on behalf of EVMC. Registrants that make use of the EVMC apps and/or website agree to hold EVMC harmless for and from any liability for any damages arising out of the use of the online or management services.
Registrant voluntarily releases and forever discharges EVMC from any and all liability, claims, actions, or rights of action which are in any way related to the Registrant's participation in the Conference, including, but not limited to, Registrant’s use of any Conference facilities and/ or claims arising from the actions, services, or products of Sponsors, third party vendors, or contractors. Registrant agrees to indemnify and hold EVMC harmless from any and all costs or damages, including attorney fees, incurred in connection with the Registrant’s participation in Conference activities. Registrant further agrees not to sue, assert or otherwise maintain any claim or cause of action against EVMC arising from the Registrant’s participation in Conference activities.
The conditions above serve merely to alert Registrant of the broader policy’s maintained by EVMC and terms to which Registrant agrees by registering for the Conference.

By continuing to register for the Conference, I acknowledge that I have 1) read and understand the terms and conditions above and 2) that I freely and voluntarily agree to such terms and conditions, and 3) I intend by my acceptance of this waiver to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability against EVMC to the greatest extent allowed by law.
